
About the Role
SUMMARY/SCOPE:
o Maintain clinical standards set forth by Faithful Steps. Maximize the outcomes for children with developmental delays, disabilities, and autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Create and oversee the implementation of treatment programs based on principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Build strong relationships with clients and other employees to provide excellent ABA Therapy.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: These examples do not include all possible tasks & do not limit the assignment of related tasks.
o Conduct functional behavior assessments.
o Create and oversee the implementation of treatment programs based on the principles of ABA.
o Provide family guidance that meets payor guidelines.
o Develop and deliver specific intervention activities according to the treatment plan.
o Monitor development of clients across all settings by graphing and analyzing data.
o Develop and implement new programs and perform ongoing adjustments to current programs as needed.
o Provide supervision to Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) as required.
o Produce progress reports and treatment plans to meet the requirements and submission timelines of regulatory agencies and funding sources.
o Provide coordination of care by collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
o Function as a liaison between the organization, families, community, therapists, health care providers, etc.
o Provide supervision experience hours for BCaBA and BCBA candidates as required.
o Periodically travel to various locations (e.g., homes and community) as part of the oversight of clients’ treatment programs.
o Follow all policies and procedures, including but not limited to, confidentially and mandated reporting standards
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Supervise RBT staff. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
o Master’s Degree or higher in ABA, Psychology, Education, or related field is required.
o At least two years of related professional experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) required.
o Experience writing applied behavior analytic programs and analyzing and graphing data required.
o Expertise in all empirically evaluated assessment and intervention strategies related to program and service delivery for individuals with ASD required.
o Experience in a multi-disciplinary team setting is preferred.
o Knowledge of scientifically-validated methodologies and approaches found to benefit children with ASD is preferred.
o Ability to pass background clearance and reference checks is a requirement.
o Must demonstrate integrity and ethics and follow the BACB Ethical Code.
o Ability to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness in your work.
o Ability to communicate in English effectively, both verbally and in writing is required.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
o Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing with the BACB is required.
o Valid CPR certification and other medical and training requirements as specified by payors is preferred to have at hire; but can provide training if needed.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
o This is a part-time non-exempt, full-time 30 non-exempt, OR full-time exempt level staff position.
o Part-Time scheduled hours will typically be 10 -29 hours per week between 7:30 A.M. – 6:00 P.M., thus applicants must have availability during these hours as schedule will vary depending on appointments.
o Full-time scheduled hours will either be a minimum of Full Time 30 Hours Per week or Full Time 40 Hours per week, depending on what is needed at the time. (8AM – 6PM Monday – Friday and/or alternate hours depending on patient needs).
